By the time we got to the Patuxent River it became significantly gray overcast accompanied with a downpour of rain.
I then realized, we would have more fun if we were on Double D so we could be a part of the party on the way over and back.
I noticed a Navy-like ship also leaving Annapolis. I was hoping it, too, would be heading south. If so, I wanted to ride in its wake for a smoother ride. No such luck.
“I know she could make the journey on her own, BUT, if anything did happen it’s always nice to have someone to go down with.”
