Journey: Triple L Estate – Sea Breeze, Mechanicsville – Triple L Estate
NOTE: Green marker ‘13’ missing signs, nothing but post in water
NOTE: large barge platform anchored just slightly up river of Sea Breeze pier, not quite, but nearly, in middle of river.
Arrive to Sea Breeze to see Charles County ‘Sisters Breast Cancer Survivors’ van set up in the parking lot selling shirts and what nots. Another table had set up to sell steel travel mugs with cool designs. I ended up ordering one that said “Drinker Bell” with a Pixie holding a bottle.
A barge sat anchored just off SeaBreeze’s pier, nearly in the channel. I worry that it may not be well enough lit at night, making for a SIGNIFICANTLY dangerous situation.
Found out that there was a poker run underway for Breast Cancer awareness … which explains the van.
As the first bikes rolled in for the poker run, a band began playing. I do enjoy checking out all the different bikes … and the paint jobs they have. A Polaris Slingshot sat amongst them… the 3-wheel ‘motorcycle’ I would get if I didn’t already have my convertible. Oh well.
