► Willing to Take Orders: September 23, 2016

Journey: Triple L Estate – Sea Breeze – Broomes Island – Triple L Estate

8912-bridgeAs we cruised down Cuckold Creek, I noticed an osprey flying around. I thought all the ospreys had migrated south for the season. (*note: Lori later learned that the late season Ospreys we see are the young born this year. They hang around longer than their parents because this is the only home they have known.*)

8922-sea-breezeWe first went to Sea Breeze for dinner. We wanted to have a full stomach before an evening of socializing.

At Broomes we pulled up to the pier that just directly out from the restaurant, starboard to pier. ‘Who Ray IV’ docked on the other side of the same pier. Barry came out to assist with our lines … not necessary, but always convenient if the person assisting either knows what they’re doing or willing to take orders from the captain and crew.

As expected, we had a nice time socializing – glad to have eaten earlier.

We left around dusk, at 8:25 pm, to enjoy a lovely ride home.

Time: 5:10 pm – 8:55 pm
Vessel: ‘Gurlz Gotta Eat’
Passengers: Capt. KandL
