FRIDAY 29 JULY 2016
Journey: Triple L Estate – September Song, Calvert Marina – Triple L Estate – September Song, Calvert Marina – Triple L Estate
I went to Calvert Marina to pick up Bob, Stephanie, Eric and Rob on September Song. We had invited them over to our house for a ‘traditional’ Maryland meal – steamed crabs. On our return to Triple L Rob sat in the bow seat, Eric on starboard forward bow seat, while Bob and Stephanie sat on the stern bench seat.
Lori, Debbie, Sophie, and Dude met us at the pier. Our neighbor, Brian, joined the crab feast … and eventually Matt. When it was time to return the September Song group to the Calvert Marina, Brian joined us for the ride.
As we entered the Solomons channel I asked what bar they wanted to go to – September Song was the answer. I dropped them at their boat, as requested.
As Brian and I departed I asked Brian what bar he wanted to go to. He was non-committal – do whatever. I decided to head for home as it would be cheaper to drink at home than on the island.
