WEDNESDAY 1 JUNE 2016
Journey: Triple L Estate – Stoney’s, Broomes Island – Triple L Estate
Tonight is the first night of summer cornhole league.
As we approached Clarkes Landing and the channel leading to the Patuxent, I saw DNR in their new black boat come towards us from Mill Creek. They took a good look at us but didn’t pull us over.
Unfortunately, the Corn Ho’s did not perform at their usual high standards. If their performance tonight is indicative of this season, the next twelve weeks will feel like an eternity.
It was nice to see some of our friends, but there are also a lot of new faces. I’m going to miss some of those that are no longer playing in the league – such as Tom and Edie.
Time: 5:00 pm – 8:40 pm
Conditions: sunny, one passing rain in early afternoon; partly cloudy interspersed with clear, sunny, blue sky appearing at departure
Passengers: Capt KandL
Vessel: ‘Gurlz Gotta Eat’
