FRIDAY 25 DECEMBER 2015
Journey: Triple L Estate – the Beach – Freshies of Hollywood – Island Creek – Freshies of Hollywood – Triple L Estate
A gorgeous, warm, Christmas Day. Perfect for going out on the boat. A nice change from the last several days of rain, heavy rain, and thunderstorms.
We contacted the Beach to see if they were home and accepting company; they were so we headed over to the Beach first. We sat and visited for a while. Jonathan, and his new wife, arrived for the day so we got to meet her for the first time. Richard and his family arrived just as we prepared to leave, so at least we got to also see all of them. A nice bonus.
Still having the morning free, we decided to ride up t0 Freshies of Hollywood to see how dinner preparations progressed. Eric and Rick met us at the pier to help tie up. When I walked into the house I said to Barry, “Hi. We came to see what time you wanted us to come over.” He chuckled and said, “Well… now.”
Rick was itching to go out on the boat so I took him and Eddy out for a short ride. We scooted over to Island Creek to buzz by Southern Acres. I didn’t see any activity so I continued on a bit further to see if I could spot Pat and Mary’s house. I saw someone sitting on an outside porch, but since I didn’t know for sure which house was their house, I decided to turn around and head back to Freshies of Hollywood.
I dropped Rick and Eddy off, picked up Lori, and we returned home to ready ourselves for the afternoon.
