Journey: Triple L Estate – Greg and Dee’s – Kingfishers, Solomons Island – Clarkes Landing – ‘race Miss Summer Dee’ – Triple L Estate

We had a gorgeous day today and simply had to go out on the boat. Since I hadn’t yet seen Greg and Dee’s new boat, we first stopped by their house for a tour. Knowing how short Dee is, and seeing the position of the tall window and bow, I pulled out my little stop to show them. She thought it would work perfectly for her. Greg, not being much taller than her, might find it useful also.

We turned around and followed him for a short time. Once we finished stalking Double D we decided to stop at Clarkes Landing in order to say ‘Hi’ to K.

As we departed Clarkes Landing I commented to Lori that it seemed too nice outside to go home. “Well, then let’s go to Broomes,” she responded. We saw Greg and Dee passing by Clarkes on their boat. We asked them if they wanted to race. Dee said, ‘ok’. We took off towards the river, but Greg, having new motors, had no interest in racing. Just as well since he has 200 more horsepower than us and likely would have beaten us badly.

Once we got to the river we turned around and headed for home.
