At one point, however, she actually jumped onto the bow hatch. That scared us because we didn’t know if she’d slip or jump. I quickly, but gently, slowed down hoping that she wouldn’t fall in before we could get to her.
As he reached down to pick it up he fell onto the floor and wasn’t able to get back up. Instead he ended up rolling around on the bow floor laughing.

Lori easily lassoed the starboard bow piling but could not get to the port side bow piling. I turned on the bow thruster to move her over but the bow thruster had a funny whining whirl sound and did NOT work. SHIT!!!
Without prompting, he wrapped the line around a piling a few times. He explained to Lori what he had done. We told him he did exactly what should be, and needed to be, done. Impressive.

Thank goodness we had slowed down!!! As we approached our cove I noticed a dark hulled boat anchored exactly where we usually travel to enter our cove.
She regretted not having invited others to join us on our boat. According to her we need to be more social with our boat.
